Our hotel stands in “the heart” of Vezzano Ligure, an ancient village on a hill, just at the confluence of the Magra and Vara rivers. The logistically “happy” location allows the guest to stay in the background of an ancient medieval village quite far from the confusion of the city centre yet at a short distance from Lerici, Fiascherino, Bocca di Magra and the wonderful Cinque Terre. You can also get to the famous Versilia in only 20 minutes by the below motorway.

Before the minute restoration the hotel was the cloister of the adjoining Church of S. Maria Assunta: today staying at Al Convento allows the guest to go back in time and discover again those sensations, those distant scents and that human heat that will turn the stay into a memorable revival of the past. The ancient walls of the hotel welcomed noblemen, merchants and pilgrims, who stopped at the cloister to rest and then went on with their route along the Francigena Way.

The three stars Hotel is made up of 19 rooms: 3 triple suites, 4 triple rooms, 3 double suites, 5 double rooms superior, 3 standard double rooms and 1 single room.

At the reception guests are welcomed by a skilled staff with knowledge of foreign languages, at your disposal round the clock every day.

The kind and attentive staff waits on the buffet breakfast in a cosy room, from 7,30 to 10,00. You can chose among: hot drinks, the, coffee, chocolate, brioches and croissants, bread and focaccia, butter, different jams, Nutella, yoghurts, tarts, handmade cakes cooked by our great cook Pepy, juices, cheese and various kind of cold meat and salami.
